Autodesk buying alias

It's a sad day for anyone like me in the industry today... The "microsoft" of 3D, autodesk, have just bought out Alias. Once again globalisation and capitalism at its peek. These two companies merging will NOT have a good effect on development and technological advances! why? because autodesk wants to make money, and now, they own 90 % of the market. They will not develop new and better tools because they will not have the competition to push them into doing that. Also, may i remind everyone that they kept max at $7000 dollars au or so even though it was shit. Why? because they had their market cornered. that's what microsoft does, and that's what autodesk does. Lucky I'm in love with XSI, and it's easy for me to just let everyone who's stupid enough to buy into the big guy rot alone.
